From Death To Life.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:30-31.

The word translated “renew” above means “to bring back to life.” The picture is that of a tree that’s been hewed and chopped down and expected to die, but suddenly there has been a change and it’s brought back to life. It’s a kind of transformation where death is replaced with life.

The Light of God’s Word

“The unfolding (entrance) of your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple.”

2 Corinthians 3:18

When you read the Word of God, you are looking into the mirror of God. The verse above tells us that what you see in the mirror of God as you “look” (study the Word), is the glory of God. It means that as you behold the glory of God you are changed into the glory that you see in the Word.

Working the Word

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”.
Hebrews 4:12

The scripture above lets us know the power, infallibility of God’s Word. The Word produces results when you believe, confess and act upon it as the truth.
